Did you know that the Government of Quebec is one of the largest landowners in Angell Woods? The Ministry of Transport owns approximately 1.1 million square feet in the northern part of Angell Woods. Ducks Unlimited, together with the City of Beaconsfield and the City of Montreal, made a very important contribution to the conservation of Angell Woods through the acquisition in 2007 of a 2.3 million square foot site. The Ducks Unlimited lot is in the heart of the western portion of the Woods, centred around the stream draining north to the Riviére-à-l’Orme.
